Hey, we'd rather have cooler temps with no rain. The problem is when the air gets moist, it gets sticky & thick . Hopefully you get some rain soon.

Wish we could get some fiber connects here, but small town like this is low on the priority list. We're lucky to have what we got, drive 15 mins out of town & your only choice is dial up or satellite.

Morning Borg. Yes fibre will be nice as I will finally have competition. My coax is fibre to the node, then coax to the house. It works great, over 700Mb to my house and around 18Mb up.

Fibre was laid down my street earlier this year, there's now a small neat access cover in the pavement outside every house in my street. Don't think it's gone live yet though, at least - the telco that laid it hasn't put any leaflets though our doors yet.

Don't think I'll be switching to FTTH though, I already get a solid 50Mbps with my current FTTC connection, more than enough for all my needs.
