It's hot enough here, and now we are getting some humidity to make it fell hotter

Humidity is never a good thing with heat. Hope you get a break from that. A good amount of mugginess here as well.

My BBC website forecast goes out as far the 16th August. Not a drop of rain expected here in the S/E of England....

I think we're in the same boat, lots of places declaring state of emergency due to drought. Meanwhile other places getting dumped on with too much rain.
Crazy ass weather....
No drought here...well, not yet at least....but last time I drove through town I noticed the river was pretty darn low.

Oh yes, I see on the news farmers have had to cut down on water & the crops are expected to be a low yield this year. 
On the plus side I see the Ukraine has started shipping out grain again. Not sure how much that'll help now but anything is better then nothing.
