Yeah, I'm seeing that. Hopefully this is just a fluke & the rest of the car stays in good shape (knock on wood).

I called the Honda dealership in the past, being it was at the 3 year mark & asked if they needed to see the car for any scheduled maintenance. They said with that low of miles on it they would change the oil but everything should be well.

This was after I told them when i bought the car they told me for anything that needed major repairs/maintenance, they would send a truck out to pick up the car & leave me a loaner. Now, 5 years later they are saying they won't do that anymore so I'm wondering about if they indeed put something off because I asked them to pick up the car.

I told them, I have nerve damage, sitting that long takes it out of me, but they said they no longer offer that pick up service that far away.

    Have a good day GM
Morning Borg! I hope that your air will be fixed and nothing else goes wrong as well!

I have told my wife that at the 3 year mark we should be trading in to have our vehicles covered bumper to bumper. But Looking at our insurance closer one year, and we have a maintenance protection plan thru them. No wonder our insurance has gone up, but I kept it on there.
Even though most independent maintenance companies do not cover emissions coverage, emissions are covered by the manufacturer for 8years/80.000 miles which ever comes first.
Have you thought of trading your Honda after they fix the air, in for a Hyundai? It`s closer right?

    Morning WXC

Thanks, but she's going to be a bear anyway, like she usually is when to comes to morning med appts. She grumbles & procrastinates even though I keep telling her best to get it done in the morns (less chance of delay).

    I understand, buddy.

Hopefully all will go well, she'll get good news, and the day will be a good one.

    ...wishing you luck.

    Morning GM.

Thanks, I hope this is our last prob for a while. Being it has low miles & it's the only car we have we're not going to get rid of it anytime soon. Aside from that, vehicles are expensive right now.

The lady at the dealership told me something interesting. Ford has 40,000 vehicles sitting in it's factory lot all finished just waiting for computer chips. So what they are going to do now is sell them without the chips, which means some features that run on those won't be available, & then when they chips become available, you can go to your dealer & get them installed for free.

Thanks, yeah, I pretty much have to push her out the door.

Especially now in summer with hot temps during the day it makes even more sense to get it done in the morns when it's cool.
