Good morning/afternoon, everyone.
Wishing each of you a nice Wednesday.
HHD!
Good morning WXC
A particularly good day today. Not only did I complete my Patch Tuesday chores in record time and got to bed at a reasonable time, but I'm also about to go to my daughter's to do some child-minding duties for my grandchildren.

I will be working on my mail box today as somebody ran it over last night she was caught to, ran over 7 boxes according to the sheriff. The mail box took out her tire and she was stopped a couple of miles from here driving around on her rim.

I put my mailbox onto a granite post, about 5 years ago now. Plus its close to a telephone pole too. Pretty hard for any car to hit it, plus it would do a lot of damage to any car that hit it.

Good afternoon, Bree.
Good for you! Sounds like a 'win-win', all the way around!

Yes but the pole most likely bent ....mine would not bend at all , would damage her car quite a bit. Its solid granite.

At the speed she hit mine yours would be broken along with the pole. she did not bend the pole but bent the plate that the mailbox was attached to.
