What's annoying about this is Honda is supposed to be touted as making quality cars. Our car, a 2017 Civic, only has 11K miles on it, barely used & already seeing problems. Two yrs ago I had to ride all the way out to the dealership because the AC pump was defective & they replaced that, but that was a freebie, still, a long drive for me with my nerve damage.
Yes, Honda is supposed to be the most reliable. But they are also the most expensive when it comes to repairs not covered by warranties.

Yeah, I'm seeing that. Hopefully this is just a fluke & the rest of the car stays in good shape (knock on wood).
I called the Honda dealership in the past, being it was at the 3 year mark & asked if they needed to see the car for any scheduled maintenance. They said with that low of miles on it they would change the oil but everything should be well.
This was after I told them when i bought the car they told me for anything that needed major repairs/maintenance, they would send a truck out to pick up the car & leave me a loaner. Now, 5 years later they are saying they won't do that anymore so I'm wondering about if they indeed put something off because I asked them to pick up the car.
I told them, I have nerve damage, sitting that long takes it out of me, but they said they no longer offer that pick up service that far away.
Have a good day GM

Good Morning Folks.

Hello Ken
Good morning / afternoon folks.
In the low 70's, raining & headed for the high 80's with a line of T Storms headed our way.
The good news, they found the leak on the car AC.
The bad news, with the refill cost as well as the labor to replace the condenser (that part is only $158) it's going to be between $600 - $700+ to get it all fixed up.
Hello Borg and Yuki Oni at least it is not the evaporator as they had to replace the one on my wife's car it was 3K+

Morning Beeman & the kitterz.
Ouch....that's a lot to pay for a car part. Or rather should I say the service, that's what's the real culprit it seem, labor costs.
Had a fuel pump go out on my last car, it was mounted on top of the gas tank. Part was only like $50 but they had to drop the whole damn tank to get at it, final cost was about $450 if I remember right.
You sure can't work on them anymore like you did in the past.....

Afternoon Bree.
Yeah, I'm consoling myself with the fact we do need it, I'm glad they found the leak & if this fixes the prob then it's worth the cost....so I keep telling myself......
