We get plenty of thunderstorms. Warm wet air meets the cold fronts and boom. That storm we had last weekend knock power out for hundreds of thousands and killed eleven people as it swept through Ontario. Wasn't a thunderstorm but one of these fast moving wind events.

Oh yeah... while I was cruising down memory lane (checking some CDs from 2002 and 2003),
the optical drive died.
BUT.... I had already bought a spare somewhere around April 2021. So I just took the dead one out,
