welcome to the pointless LOTPW thread.

Some sporting events like Wimbledon are deemed to be too important to be allowed to be bought exclusively by the commercial channels, so we still get them uninterrupted on the BBC. F1 didn't quite make it into that category, but at least it made it to our other channel with a public service remit (albeit with adverts) Channel 4. The replay is about 5 hours delayed, so the timing is usually not too late in the evening, UK time.
