It's not Aomei I'm worried about; it's the easyuefi thing. And . . .
I remembered to use whois: and that tells me a lot I need to know. Too much stuff "redacted for privacy" for my comfort. Further, somewhere near the end, I saw they originate in China. Which isn't the sole reason for backing off. I think I'll check out their apps, just to see, although I'm inclined to just "fugeddabodit"!
I just went to VirusTotal and checked out the URL. It came up clean. Now I'm going to go and check out the app.
BTW, I was only looking for a clear definition of System Partition.

Good afternoon Wynona, Gracie and Lucy.
Only backup program I use is MR ....don't think I've ever read the directions...LoL I only do full image backups and do them manually ....Then if I need to restore I use my USB stick which MR makes to boot from for restores. Its pretty simple for me.
Problem is that every time it was scheduled for class, something came up and we had to postpone.
I am going to introduce them to Aomei as a first foray into backing up their systems. After that, Macrium.
Which brings me to the fact that the current situation with the MR tutorial isn't the best. If I can't make heads or tails of it, I'm sure they can't. It's my understanding that Kari's been sick and until he can update the tutorial, I shall wait.
OK, you are the professor and understand them.
But
Hi there, Mikey. Anything normal happening up your way?
I just spent a hour and half shoveling 1 dam inch of snow off my walkway and driveway ....could not use my snowblower for just 1 inch ....and I am pooped .....chance of a big storm Saturday I'm hearing.
Did you update your Screenpresso ...oh wait ...you do beta's ...I fergit.
Well, I downloaded the beta app, and it came up clean also. So, unless they can hide from every AV/Malware catcher/etc., in the world, it looks like this one is OK.
I'm still not sure I want to try that on my Little Lenovo which won't take Windows 11.
After checking it out with VirusTotal, I deleted it.
