    Good morning / afternoon all.

It's -2° outside...brrrrr. Supposed to get into the upper 20's if we're lucky.
    Morning Borg.

Well, just got back from my weekly shop and had an interesting 'Windows' moment while there.

I always use one of those hand scanners when I shop in my local Tesco. Everything went well, but after I successfully downloaded the the scanner to the till and paid for my shop the scanner threw a fit. It crashed and got stuck in a reboot loop. Turns out it's running on Windows Embedded Standard 7, according to the logo that appeared on each boot.

I do hope they've paid for the ESU, otherwise support ended in October 2020.
That's nothing. The fairly new hole in the wall cash machines at my local Morrisons are running Windows XP. One of them was crashed the other day and stuck rebooting XP.

It probably dispenses £20 notes with Queen Victoria on them, too.

    Morning Keith, and all.
