I don't envy you. We're set to stay in the low 40s by day and low 30s by night until the middle of next week, then it warms up a few degrees. Even that's enough to keep me from going out except for essentials.
Well, it's winter, it's going to be cold, what can we do about it? Give it another 6 months & we'll be bitching about the heat.

Yeah, you're lucky, in the past at least the UK gets some mild winter weather due to the ocean currents.

Morning WXC, Happy Sat to you as well.

They said it would get into the single digits but not the negative ones...-2° this morn. Me & OM are having a cold spell.

Good morning, Borg. And, thank you.

Too cold for me. Stay inside and warm.

That's true, but the downside is that it comes with damp air. In summer that can make even modest heat uncomfortable, and in winter the damp makes even a little cold go right through you. And come February is can also mean heavy snow

I suppose even your weather has changed over the years.

When I was young my parents & me stayed in the UK for some time, think close to a year. Spent some time in London, but my Dad ended up finding us a place in a small town called Burton Upon Trent. He was friends with the Police Chief. From what I remember, the winter was a mild one. I remember the fair they had at the castle ruins, that was neat.

I imagined you have damp weather. All adds to the mystique of the UK when you get those thick fogs.
