Used to have great fun when we were kids sliding down the slope on the pavement outside the house. Probably be banned as too dangerous these days although no one actually broke any bones.

Yep, that could be fun. And you're correct, would likely be banned these days.

I was thinking more about driving on ice, vs snow. Plus the damage to trees, as a result of the extra weight. Forgot all about the fun for kids.

Yep, driving on ice is no fun except I did do a course on a skid pan at Silverstone race circuit a few years back.
