Do you mean they don't run if you double click them? That's not the way MR is usually set up. For that to happen you would need to go into Windows default settings and set .xml documents to open in MR. Problem with that is that xml is not an MR specific extension so you may have difficulties with other programs that use the format.

Of course they don't run ....they are document files !!!!!!!!!!! double click on them and it shows like any text file that you open.

Try right clicking on them as I suggested above.

When I double click file it asked me which app to use, Macrium isn't even listed. I could navigate to Macrium and assign I guess.

Just saying what happens on my machine.

Yeah, I've got mine set to open in notepad++.

Mike if you go into settings, apps, default apps, near bottom > Apps by file type.

Look up how .xml are set on both machines.

I did ....they open like any TEXT FILE because that's what they are ...
