    Good morning/afternoon all

The only 'white stuff' seen here was fog early this morning. Bright and sunny now, not that I'm going out any time soon. Staying in and watching the Masters snooker final.
    Afternoon Bree.

All us on the E coast are awaiting the fallout. Pretty freakin' quiet outside, even for a Sunday. Less traffic, I'm guessing people are hunkered down. The fun starts this afternoon or evening.

Personally I hate the Ribbon, a confused jumble of options in no logical order - end result being I hardly ever find or use the options I want from there. I far prefer the W11 Command Bar that replaces it (and it takes up less screen space).

But if you must, then Brink has a tutorial for that.....

Restore Classic File Explorer with Ribbon in Windows 11 Tutorial | Windows 11 Forum

Thanks. I don't use either, I'm real old school with short cuts and context menu.

That said for a lot of my clients the old ribbon had words, it had really good contrast for those visually challenged, it has an option for move, delete permanently and pin to quick access.

Power blue icons on blue background and their tiny size. Obviously designed by a twenty something. I'm really starting to hate this minimalists screen layout.

    Morning Borg

I hope it's not too disruptive, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

We do get weather like that once in a blue moon, but usually not until February. But it's so infrequent here it always takes everyone by surprise.

Thanks, but I'm betting it'll be a mess. We get this kind of stuff here in winter, sometimes it's huge amounts spread out over the months & other winters we get the occasional snow. Last year was a pretty mild winter for us here, so as far as equal reactions go, not surprised what's going to happen.

Either way, we don't have to go anywhere for a couple days so we're hunkered down.

    Good morning / afternoon folks.

It was 10° this morn, woke up around 6:30AM & the market was empty so ran in to get some supplies we normally get.

No idea when the storm is supposed to hit, sometime this afternoon, possibly evening. Right now saying anywhere from 6 - 10+ inches & mixed precip, freezing rain & ice thrown into the mixture.
    Morning Borg. Sounds lovely.
