Morning Charlie
Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes. They're very much appreciated. I am a bit less stuffy and not coughing this morning. Temperature is at 97.2°! Yay!
Hi, Mike & Sammy. It's 55° and sunny out today heading for 68°, but starts to deteriorate by tomorrow. Possible wintry mix on Saturday. Which will be the first day I can go out (with a mask, of course). Not gonna . . .
Hi, Keith.
I use Rufus for creating a bootable flash drive. Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way
Hi, Charlie, Buzzy, Eddy, Tommy, Blackie, Penguin, & Tuffie.
Hi, Borg & Yuki Oni. Bottom drops out here too.
Hi, WXC. You have a nice Thursday too.
Hi, Ken. Thanks. Yes, I am fully vaxed and boosted. I knew I could get it, but didn't think I would since I always wear my mask except at pool. And yeah, I am pretty sure that's where I picked it up.
Thanks, WXC.
Good morning, Bob.
Hi, and good luck, Ghot. When I have one of those, I just pretend I'm going to bed and close my eyes. Yeh, I'm a bit claustrophobic.
Hi, Bree. Thanks, and yes so far it's mild with no temp.
Good morning, TC & Frankie.
Couple of good Github apps the geeks in the dark basement have come up with.
1. A fix to Windows 11 Drag 'n Drop so it works like Win 10. This one was driving me nuts! This little teeny footprint app does the job, makes it look and feel like Win 10.
GitHub - HerMajestyDrMona/Windows11DragAndDropToTaskbarFix: "Windows 11 Drag & Drop to the Taskbar (Fix)" fixes the missing "Drag & Drop to the Taskbar" support in Windows 11. It works with the new Windows 11 taskbar and does not require nasty changes like UndockingDisabled or restoration of the classic taskbar.
2. Found another Github app that brings back the seconds on the Taskbar Clock. This was an esthetic thing to me. It's in the App Store, too.
GitHub - martinet101/ElevenClock: ElevenClock: Have a customizable clock on your Windows 11 displays
Just posting these if anybody cares.
