Same thing here, we usually wake up around 12 due to people shooting off fireworks & whatnot.

They're having the gathering downtown this year, despite that fact the numbers are going up.

I'm scheduled for a procedure on the 12th at the hosp, I'm watching the numbers every carefully & I'll have to decide about a week before. This procedure is overdue by 3 years but the timing is crappy, right after a holiday. Just going to have to wait & see how it works out. I am NOT looking forward to going into Covid Central.
