Good afternoon Wisewiz
did you get your taco fires to go out satisfactorily?
It's nice of you to ask. Thanks. Yes, I have a prescription for helluva-dose Ranitidine (Zantac if you buy it OTC), and the anti-acid effect of that works -- most of the time -- to reduce the taco-effect. Also works on barbecued ribs and a coupla other things we eat around here. [BTW: Zantac is a silly name made up of ANT and AC from ANTACID, with a pseudo-scientific "Z" at the front, to make it look like a drug]

Glad to hear that, I hope you got some decent sleep after that.
The few time I suffer a calcium carbonate antacid tablet usually suffices.

I'm on (been on) prescription Protonix (Pantoprazole - Proton-pump inhibitor). Twice a day. I have a damaged lower esophagus and stomach acid is a big no-no.

Good evening folks, it never got over 35° here today.

Lucky you ...LoL I won't see temps like you have until maybe April or May.

Well, what a coincidence! I have to take Pantoprazole twice a day to suppress my natural hyper-production of acid. Major complication for me is that I have to go in periodically to undergo endoscopy, dilation (dilatation), and biopsies to try to control this bloomin' condition, which threatens to turn into esophageal cancer at every opportunity. It's okay. I'm fine. But I really don't want to have that. Scary.
Enough on that, eh?
Let's get back to the weather and such.

I'm on Omeprazole, another proton pump inhibitor. Small world.

It's a cold autumn ... well below the average
mid 40's tomorrow, and only in 30's for the next 10 days.. Real winter weather
