Well, looking at the news this morn it looks like the travel restrictions are a bit too late, several other countries in Europe are reporting Omicron variant. Not that the restrictions would have done that much....

Yes Borg, the horse was already out of the barn. This was to be expected. Everyone knew this would mutate, an article in the paper said there are over 500 mutations in Canada, over 1500 in world, and with the airline and travel industry chomping at the bit to re-engage we can consider ourselves lucky so far.

Well, they've been monitoring that variant for a bit now....& they decide to raise the red flags on it after a time...when it's already spreading? Yeah, it's out & about. If we ever needed a reason to come together globally, this sure seems like a good one.

They're saying this one can bypass vaxed & natural immunity.

Time to start getting some clean up done in the fridge. we still have some stuffing but all the rest of the T Day stuff is gone. My Wife got another one of those trays for Christmas dinner, so we'll be eating that for 3 days again.

Don't know about sleet but when I went to put the bins out I was knee deep in leaves.
