Yeah....unfortunately it's starting it's spread. I read NY City went on high alert due to the new variant, no confirmed cases there yet. Think I saw something about Canada is also on high alert.

It's like flu, it's airborne so travel bans only slow it down a bit.

Yes, that was one of the discussions on the table, if banning air travel will help stop the spread. I suppose it depends on if they got enough of a head start on the ban to stop too many infected people coming in. But in all likelihood, that's probably not going to help much.

It was only announced yesterday morning and doesn't come into full force until Monday I think.
