Well pretty much everything has taken a price hike recently. Grocery store food has gone up, gas, just about everything.
BTW, read an interesting article a bit back while researching the price on a 40 yr old bottle of Balvenie. They had a talk with several master distillers. Apparently anything over 25 yrs starts to absorb too many wood qualities & the flavor gets overwhelmed by that. As one put it, you'd get the same taste sucking on a piece of oak. So the prime years for a aged scotch is tween 12 - 25 years, but no longer.
Morning Tomcat. Hope you are doing well & got a good meal yesterday.
Time for some breakfast....leftovers from yesterday. Turkey, mashed potatoes & stuffing....
You all take care & have a good, safe day.
