The next bank holiday in England and Wales is 27 December for Christmas Day, Scotland does have one on 30th November for St Andrew's Day.

No, empty shelves here and I've already got my Turkey for Thursday in the freezer and I'll be picking my Xmas one up tomorrow

We have turkey farms around me.


Have you ever seen a live turkey loader. Looks like an escalator they herd the turkeys up to get them in trucks.


Not pretty at all and not a lot of safety mechanisms.


One day I was driving home and there were a huge number of feathers blowing down this road. Then I came across this farm with this "Live Turkey Loader" painted on its side.

There were some unfortunate ones just lying on the ground that weren't so live.


The memory lives on.
