Afternoon Mike. Yes Mike they will. We all use more energy every day. Ford F150 are one of the best selling vehicles in Canada and some crazy high percentage of the owners have never use it as a truck.
Evening Bree. Thought you might and once you see the start then your done, no escape.
On to Mexico.

Much the same here. My central heating is natural gas too. They are talking about phasing out Natural gas heaters to save the planet and convert to electric heat pumps which will cost much more and don't work very well.
I have a heat pump here and they are as cheap to run as a natural gas heater. A heat pump will give you from 3 to 4 watt of heat per watt of electricity. A heating element will only give you one watt for every watt of electricity.

Yea they were talking about getting rid of natural gas here for heating. Move to electric and heat pump by like 2025.
What are they smoking. We don't have enough grid or source. Today we woke up to the UPS beeping. Another short in the feed lines, underground, in neighbour hood. One group of 131 homes, three shorts in three years.
Oh and they want us to charge our cars together.
Don't get me wrong I believe in climate change, you just can't fix it with dopey goals. We need to start building infrastructure, lots of it while we upgrade the old before we can talk about living in a totally green electric world.
Totally agree Ken.

Nothing in Canada this year, which is a shame. That's usually a good race.

Problem is Charlie that they work less well the colder it gets just when you need the heat more.

That's a pity. I miss 'The Wall' - or rather, I miss watching those drivers who don't miss the wall

Ah ok, perhaps the reports I have read are out of date.

Think COP of about 2 is expected at the temps around 5 to 10F °these days. And rise above 3 at 20 to 25°F. At temps below 0°F COP could drop below 1.5, but those temps don't last long (except for Mike )
