Morning Ken.
Thank you. The whole thing about her having to go in every month is due to the regulations on her pain meds. He can only write them for 30 days at a time, & she needs to be seen every time before he can write the script. It's a PIA & she's not happy about having to go to the office....but that's the way it is...... They won't do tele-visits anymore, actually a lot of docs in the area stopped doing those. (Probably because of the diff in $$$$ for those)
Thanks. It is what it is.
Saw they won't be having any trick or treating this year on the downtown mall like they usually do. But apparently some places will be hosting some kind of event for the kids.
The waters around the British Isles are divided into 31 sea areas
Our doctors are also increasing their in office visits.
I think some are trying to catch up on undiagnosed conditions, a real health assessment. I'm sure the dollars are higher. The NFL is pushing the critical catch. The number of aliments like cancer and heart conditions have gone way down. No way that is happening so people just aren't being diagnosed.
Afternoon ClassicD. Good to have you onboard. Your posts are quite cryptic. (Just posted a clue.)
Morning Mike. It is warming up here. All the way to 45F
I saw one of our statements when the docs were doing phone calls & there is a pretty good amount of diff in what they can charge compared to an office visit. I know the average F2F visit is about $175, I think for the phone ones they got maybe $60 or so.
But yeah, there has been a rise in un-diagnosed conditions due to people not wanting to go out to offices & other crowded places. Saw an article that there has been a rise in medical problems since they started the office visits back up again.
With my Wife it's just basically they ask about the aches & pains, if she's doing OK & that's about it. No real check up or anything, but it's a required by law thing so she has to do it....
