    The old girl still going strong - vista


    8th gen intel cpu. Just using vga.sys for graphics. The only graphics card I have wont fit on this mobo.

    One driver missing, doesnt seem to be a problem.

    I kinda miss her. I spent very little time with her before the laptop gave up and wouldn't play anymore. I put the laptop to bed for about a decade, then brought it out and tried to start the old girl (still Vista we're talking about here) recently, and it was no go. So I tried booting to an install CD, and the rest is history. Story briefly here:

    Let's run Win10 on really really old hardware

    The laptop is sleeping again for now, but it held up beautifully under 10Pro 21H1.
