    I do!

I've had the preview builds running for more than 8 weeks on this laptop and I can't wait for Windows Update to 'turn it up to 11' again.

But let's agree that the finishing line of our little race is the first one to post the 'Download and install / Stay on Windows 10 for now' banner
I've already had that, Bree. Does that mean I win!?

    Good morning/afternoon, folks.

Daughter Teresa had a head-on collision last Sunday, so I have been concentrating on her for the past week. She has some bones in her foot fractured and a fractured sternum. Worst patient in the world and is driving Cyndi nutso. Now I can't go with Cyndi to help out . . .

On Wednesday our whole Genealogy class was exposed to COVID 19, so I'm kinda self-quarantining. We've cancelled Class for next Wednesday, just to be safe. There were no other exposures, since he didn't have any interaction with anyone else. He was fully vaccinated too, so it was a breakthrough case.

Then yesterday when I was taking a router back to Fidelity Communications (no personal contact), my car started to smell like overheating brakes, so had to stop at a handy Exxon Garage (thank goodness it was close); used mask the whole time and was able to stay away from everyone. Seems a caliper was stuck and as the car cooled it released (I guess). Anyway, that one didn't cost me anything, but I think I'm going to have it checked out when I'm able to go out safely.

Now I have plenty of time to clean house and do the outside work that needs to be done, but I don't want to do anything.

maybe, but not if you were offered it as an Insider....

Mike and I have this little side bet going. We both have new machines, Mike has a newly built rig and I have a laptop I bought specifically to run a transplant of the OS from my 'main machine'. We want to see which of our two new machines will get offered the upgrade first through Windows Update, with no cheating like enrolling as Insiders or slapping an ISO onto them.

We're at the starting gate now with both our machines saying 'Great news - your PC meets the minimum system requirements ... we're getting it ready for you'.
