Can you imagine buying a new computer with an AMD processor only to find Windows is hampering performance. Wow would I be miffed.

I would never buy a computer, I build my own.

Also hearing on the news this morning, the folks that make our much needed chips for various things like GPU's are out of stock, they is a big shortage of the needed chips right now.

So prices are going thru the roof for many computer parts.

Mine has a modest little AMD Athlon. It ran my test install of 11 for two months without issue.

The Athlon is not listed as being affected these speed issues, but perhaps WU is being overly hesitant just because I have an AMD of any sort?

Had to turn on the AC yesterday afternoon....probably have to do that for the next 2 days as well. Indian summer here until Sat when the temps drop.

Yeah, I read some of the car plants closed down temporarily. One of them has 40,000+ finished vehicles sitting around just waiting for chips to be put in them to make them functional.
