    Good day one and all.

Overcast, in the 60's. Was supposed to be very humid today but something changed.

Race was early today so I had to record and then watch it.

Might go out and rake leaves for the first time this year.

Hey, people! Good to see so many of us here, working hard enjoying ourselves.

Crisp, beautiful Thanksgiving weekend afternoon, with a 90% probability of baked ham for dinner.

Someone once said that one good definition of "eternity" is "one ham and two people."

Well, we had guests, but the size of that thing in the fridge is amazing, even after four people ate their fill last night.

'Course there's the same problem in December, with turkey.

We are so fortunate to have the unearned and undeserved privilege of having been born where we were and when we were, in places and times of freedom and plenty, where even a plague that would have decimated the world a century ago is within the reach of contemporary science.

    Thanksgiving, indeed.
