I have to head out & help my Wife clean up the porch a bit, the trash pandas made a visit last night (again) 
. Even though we don't leave any food out they like to rummage though stuff.

I have eight panels laying on the ground hooked up and I am getting 52 watts out of them even with the heavy overcast, during the middle of the day it is able to charge up the battery I have a computer going full time on the system the battery is at 64% state of charge.
My Sunmeter says I am at 150 and I am now charging the battery this time of the year the sun meter goes to 1100 at noon with no clouds.

Looks like you could make a nice side-line in COBOL programming, according to Borg
My first language was also Fortran but most of my programming was in PL1, with a smattering of COBOL, IBM Assembler. VB, C#, and REXX.
