Heading anywhere special on your holiday?

Well, there's a family wedding in Northern Ireland, so we're taking a long break to take in some sights. Always wanted to see the Giant's Causeway....

    Good morning Ken.
I'll explain if you can tell me why a biscuit is a cookie.

    Will this do?

the word “biscuit” comes from the Latin ‘bis’ (twice) and ‘coquere’ (cooked). It essentially means twice baked! More firm, thinner and fluffier than a cookie, biscuits require a harder dough to create the correct texture.

    Good morning Ghot.

Yes, a 'Happy Saturday' - despite the dull and damp weather today. Mainly because I'm looking forward to going on holiday, starting Monday. Don't be worried if you don't hear much from me for the next two weeks
    Evening Bree. Happy holidays
