Yes, a great time, and lucky with the weather too. The only heavy rain was today - but that was a 'travelling' day (ferry/car) so didn't really matter.

You should find a pic of a parchment map, and draw a little RED line (with the occasional dots) to show your travels.
Sort of like a Raiders of the Lost Ark thing.

nice idea, but not going to happen. I didn't come equipped with tools for that job. You do realise I only have a little netbook (Intel Atom, 2GB RAM) and only MS Paint available for that sort of work.

Well there's the map. I know Paint can draw straight lines (blue or black) with dots. C'mon... it'll be fun. Like this, maybe....





This is straight from Google maps...with sepia and page curl.




You tell me the max. north/south and east west.... and I'll make a parchment map from google maps for you to use.
Then all you have to do...is add that days travel to the map and post it.

Then we can all travel... with you.

You can even post a pic or two at the end of each day of where you're at.

Ha ha, it will also take a lot of time - and it's gone midnight here so it can't happen today. Time for bed, I've got as day's walking in the hills and lakes of Cumbria planned for tomorrow and I need to get some rest.

For the most part it was a tour of Northern Ireland, briefly passing through southern Scotland to catch the Cairnryan/Larne ferry, There are only two days left to add now, and they are both here in the Lake district before returning home.
