I've given up going to MTO unless I need picture. They send reminders when things are expiring and you can renew just about everything online.

I was doing some work in an MTO office last week on a personal computer. The looks I got as I walked passed the 25 people standing in the hot parking lot sun was great. I could feel the hostility.

Our passports are 10 years and really I think our licenses / health cards are the same as you don't get called in every time.



I see Tower Bridge is functional today. No mention of why it got stuck. Think it was last August when it last got stuck. Must be the summer heat.

Where I live we have the MTO, Ministry Transportation Ontario. Cards are good for 5 years and you don't need a picture every time.

It has been a cooler summer, some heat isn't bad. Boy is the corn growing. Should be a good year if this continues.

I've not heard why either and not much heat here this week. Causes traffic chaos when it happens.
