You'd think witch doctors would have found a cure by now, but then we're all running low on sacrificial chickens due to the huge amount of research going into this.

Sadly, Borg, I don't think there will be a cure for Covid. I'm starting to think, at best, it will be treated with new vaccines each year. Much like the Flu.

At least here in the States, I see no chance. Thousands of people from all over the world being allowed in each day, and transported and dropped off all across the country. Many of which, their home countries, doesn't even have a vaccine.

No way in hell, this is ever going to end.

    Morning WXC.

Yeah, pretty sure this will be around for a loooong time.

One thing of note, my Doc says that he has had good results with Monocolonal Antibody treatment, he says it is very effective on people like me that would not tolerate the vax well. Something to keep in mind.

Yeah, it looks like insanity with people being allowed to skirt the mask issue while the numbers keep going up.

But rest assured, VooDoo doctors like us are working hard to find a cure. Now If I can just find more newt eyes......

(BTW...The VooDoo doctor thing with me is a running joke in this room....I even have my own card)

    Afternoon kado.

I read something about that, a whole lot of folks got the stay at home recommendation. I'm betting lot's of people didn't mind getting that one. Read they were looking into maybe tweaking it a bit to be more specific/accurate as the store owners & workforce is in an upheaval due to that.
Yeah, they have tweaked it two weeks too late. It wouldn't be so bad but they are doing away with mandatory isolation on the 16th August unless you have a positive test. They could just have brought that forward and problem solved.

It's always a little too late. Bureaucracy marches on.

It's been flip/flop here as well with the CDC & state governors. Saw on the news one governor of one state passed a bill that said mandatory masking would not be permitted, he said he now regrets doing that in light of the new wave that's happening.

I agree, my friend. It is insanity. Dangerous and disgraceful.

    LOL... Love the card!

I've wondered about the Doc reference before, but didn't want to pry into anything personal. Thank you, for sharing the backstory with me.

    Good day everyone.

Another nice day here, getting a real string of them.

Hoping for your speedy recovery Borg once those AB's fully kick in. Agree, don't want to be in a hospital.

The Doc thing started due to the fact I have to take care of my Wife by administering shots & doing other doc things to help her with her diabetes. The VooDoo thing was already happening when I was trying to spiritually transplant the memory of a calculator into an undead chicken & make the worlds first Cluckulator.

    Morning Ken.

Thank you, it's going slow but hopefully better. Now just have to hope the AB's kill the virus before they kill my liver.

Yep, everyone at the docs office, doc included, said you do not want to go to the Covid Hotel if you can avoid it. Cases are rising fast compared to a week ago.

Glad you're having good days, maybe it'll be an early fall. We have been having cool morns in the 60's which is a bit out of the ordinary for this time of year.

    Morning Borg

    Afternoon Keith

Our cases are rising as well but slowly. Likely a couple of things going for us, mask mandates still in place, restricted volumes in stores / restaurants and high vaccine rates. That could all change in a flash with this virus, can't take anything for granted. While new cases are under control there seems to be an increase in deaths amongst those cases. That is scary.
