Wow!
Now, since the response has been so cool to this thread I started, I'm wondering whether I should have phrased the question very differently:
What are the ten most indispensable (to you) programs on your Windows 10 PC(s)?
Would that raise any more interest in sharing software lists?
uTorrent
7-Zip
AIDA64 Extreme
AnyBurn
Audacity
Autoruns
Bitdefender Internet Security
Canon Utilities
CCleaner
CPU-Z
EaseUS Partition Master
EMCO UnLock It 5
EVGA Precision
Firefox
GPU-Z
Karen's Directory Printer
Karen's Replicatior
Macrium Reflect v8
Microsoft Links 2003 (golf)
MiniTool Partition Wizard 12
Realtek Audio Console
Revo Uninstaller
SumatraPDF
VLC Media Player
WAU Manager
Winaero Tweaker
XnView
Zelda Classic

Hello @Wisewiz,
You could always ask z3r010 or Brink to change the threadTitle
for you. You could also say that they have to beInstalled Software
.
I normally have a designatedUSB
withPortable Software
that I use. This way, it keeps it separate from the OS, and therefore has LESS impact onResources
and is easier toTroubleshoot
the OS if needed [NOT
that I have do that very often ].
ThosePortables
that I do use a LOT, are in a separateFolder
on theOS Root
and are linked to myToolbar
. When I run them, they automatically add the configuration settings to that particularPortable
within thatFolder
. However,NOT
ALLPortables
behave in this manner, but MOST do.
I knew I'd see QTTabBar in any list from you. I am so impressed by your screenshots here, and the burnished metal finishes on everything you show us. That must have been a heap of work, even with that software.
You and Ghot have mentioned SumatraPDF. I'd never heard of it, and I'm going to check it out.
(This is the kind of information exchange I was hoping for.)
Dan
(His Highness) John has changed the title of this thread as suggested above. Maybe we'll get some more information going now.You and Ghot have mentioned SumatraPDF. I'd never heard of it, and I'm going to check it out.
