I saw that Keith when I signed on.

Started my very old Insider device and it said nope.

Two strikes, legacy boot and no TPM.

Was surprised at TPM as I know they said they took that restriction away for current insiders but I guess no UEFI equals no go.

Maybe they will remove those restrictions but I need an overall hardware refresh if I want to pursue 11. Want to get my wife a new laptop and my other devices will run 10 for the next little while. My daily drive meets the requirements but I won't fool around with it and 11.

I might put my 2nd desktop into Insider as I will want to see 11 before clients start calling. Of course it won't be considered as already in the Insider stream so the lack of TPM might be a show stopper.

Then I just have to use a work around to get it on.

It's strange because I'm installing on a VM that fails every test on WhynotWindows11.

    Afternoon Mike

Yes Keith I thought restrictions were shut off. I saw Bob also got the no go on TPM.

This may very well be a typical MS rollout. The first version of hardware assessment tool didn't work, they revised and now I think I saw they pulled it.

Same article they were saying maybe 7th gen is okay.

I'll try again when dust settles but I still need a refresh some of the stuff here.

Mike I see you are looking at the 10th generation CPU, can I ask why you passed on the 11th gen?
