Well I've done some more digging and my current lappy isn't supported on W11 either. My seventh generation core i7 7500U processor isn't in the supported list. Bummer.

    Good morning Keith,

a flying visit before I'm off for my short break on the Isle of Wight.

My 6th gen i7-6600U fails the PC Health check too, but and in-place upgrade says otherwise. See this post:

I don't believe not having TPM in your bios will stop anyone from upgrading to Windows 11 when the final release is out.
Now there could be other reasons why a user couldn't but not just because of TPM
I've got TPM 2.0, DX12, UEFI, Secure Boot. and all the other things except that Kaby Lake 7th gen CPU's aren't supported.

Morning Bree. I guess we'll see. It would be quite a big change for my work flow anyway.

Thanks to John asking me the other day if I had a PTT option in my bios, because I had no TPM option in there, I did find a PTT option ...which was OFF. I turned it on and now I have TPM turned on and Windows says I can install 11 anytime.
I would have never looked for this PTT option in my bios if not for John asking me.
