I see a few other countries are locking down again as well as the UK due to that damn Delta variant.

We are supposed to be coming out of lockdown on the 19th July because although cases are rising, hospitalisations are rising much less than previously, and deaths not at all. The current thinking is that the vaccines are protecting the vulnerable against serious illness so they want to treat it like flu. Be interesting to see how that goes. They are also talking about double jabbing over 50's for COVID & Flu in September. Decision will be made on lifting lockdown on the 12th.

Hopefully they'll have gotten it under control by the time they lift it. I saw hospitalizations are down all around, however the cases that are coming in are more severe.

Saw in a news article that the new behavior for Covid is common cold symptoms. Looks/acts like a common cold. Surprisingly they mentioned that the past symptoms, loss of taste/smell are being seen a lot less. It's definitely mutating, hopefully not into something unstoppable.
