Does anyone even read the User Manual before using a device? I guess most men read it only when they cannot find a feature or how to do a specific task. Many read it after they have messed things to try troubleshooting. Women that are usually less techy try to read the manual first, but not every single detail either.

Yes, of course. As matter of fact my long time policy is to read manuals BEFORE buying something. It gives me best idea of how it works, much more than just what is advertised.
