    Actually not true. For the general user on most Linux distros the command prompt is not needed. Installing or uninstalling a browser or other Linux software is simpler than Windows, it can be done with one click. Keeping Linux and installed applications updated is also simple, is done through a GUI, and is much quicker than updating Windows.

    With Linux it's called Terminal [now something new with Windows?] but I seldom need it on Mint.
