Not really sure what's going to happen but I read recently the variants are starting to spread. Right now in the UK, the dominant strain is the India Delta variant, much more contagious.

We may see another shut down depending on how things go. I'd like this to be done with, but my doc told me recently this is going to be around for longer then we'd like it to be.

I just hope this sends a message to all the "mad scientists" messing around with germs. Knock it off already....

Things will slowly get better, believe me. And everything shows, that by vaccination even you catch something (new variants) the symptomps are much milder...

Then, there's Delta coming on . . . it's here in the US and we're not nearly close to 70% vaccinated. News said this morning that it's the most virulent we've had so far, and is far more contagious. So, those who aren't vaccinated, and who don't wear masks are in far more danger than last year.

I still wear my mask when making necessary trips to the stores, but hardly anyone wears 'em any more. It's like they think it's all over. Scientific community is saying we will probably have another outbreak in the near future.

We are still wearing masks inside. And situation here is worse than in surrounding countries.. People are sick of being told what they can't do...

And still, thing are calming down, especially deaths, and heavy symptoms. I strongly believe in Darwinism. Virus will optimize its nature. It can, as it is so virulent. And survivors variants will be more virulent. It is not optimal for virus to cause heavy symptoms - those victims are isolated, and virus can't spread.

Optimal behavior for virus is something like catching cold. Maybe to be able to spread even before symptoms occurs - that is already the case in Covid. But symptoms like sneezing and coughing helps to spread it... This will most probably be the future of Covid. Older will have to get their yearly dose of vaccine, like flu ..
