OK, strange request that I really don't expect to happen, but I gotta try:

Does anyone have a GeForce nVidia 1050 ti laying around from an upgrade they'd be willing to part with?

I have one in my AMD i5 desktop, and it works great. I had abandoned it when the heatsink of the upgrade CPU was too big and bought an Intel i7 desktop.

Stupid thing wouldn't show the display, no matter what I did, so I put the 1050 ti into it and it works.

Fast forward to deciding to try the old heatsink on the AMD i5 and it works, but I had to put the 1050 ti back in it. Now the Intel i7 needs a video card so I can use it for teaching Windows 10 at the Senior Center.

Am I making any sense at all? Probably not, but if you have an old 1050 ti laying around . . .

I guess it would be best for you to PM me . . . I'd surely appreciate any help on this.
