I now have enough batteries to run the house for one day and a half (42KWh) and will be ordering a whole house UPS in the near future then adding solar panels to be able to go off grid.

If I cut out the AC, Hot water heater, and the stove I think I could get 4 days on the battery alone.

    Attachment 335272

I have 528 of these at 80 watts per battery.
Looks like a great off grid system.

That about sums up how a majority of the population thinks. Then when it doesn't work, most just go out & buy another item.

I had a charger wire break a couple years back when I was in classes, I told them I was going to fix it. They looked at me kinda weird & one person said "You know they're only $10-$15 right?"

I told them no big deal, just had to open the charger & splice the wire back together. They still looked at me weird. Guess I'm old school...if it breaks, try to fix it first.
With today's computer stuff it is impossible to repair even it you could get the parts ( used to repair computers) every thing is made with a computer controlled machine SMT and B&G are gonna be big show stoppers and the newer device has improvements that the old device will never have.

Fixing a charger is another thing it will most times take less time to fix than it takes to order online much less going to the store to get a new one that only looks different and still does the same thing.

Always nice to go for a walk and just take it in.

I guess Keith is with family, that would also be very nice.

    Things to do.
