I noticed Bree that you also had problems getting your MR V 8 licenses, I've also got the 4 pack and I have not even gotten 1 license in my email yet. Had to file a report to MR today, and talked with tech support over the phone. Should be fixed sometime tomorrow I think.

Installing 21H1..

Busy, busy day today - so apologies for a prolonged absence.

My 'delivery' arrived promptly today another toy for me to play with essential addition to my growing collection of laptops. I can make up a good excuse give a reasoned argument for needing each one (well for the first five or six, anyway )

It's always a bit of pot luck when you buy a used machine over the internet. This one was a Lenovo Yoga 11e, advertised as coming with Windows 10 Home.

Well, yes... it did - but an x86 install! Then the real fun serious work began. First a clean install of x64 W10 Pro (it had an W8.1 Pro key in the bios), followed by a long search on the interweb for 'Yoga 11e touchscreen not working'. (Google it - you'll find hundreds of 'I just put an image on it and the touch screen stopped working' stories).

Several hours later it turns out the MS does not recognise that this machine has a touch screen or have any driver to install for it. In the end a visit to Lenovo Support, typing in the serial number and letting it automatically detect missing driver sorted it all out.

So after all that I visit TF again - only to find that both Macrium v8 and 21H1 have been released while I was otherwise occupied.

So that's five machines offered (and updated to) 21H1 and another one upgraded to Reflect v8 to add to today's tally.

So that's why I've not been seen much - and why, now I've said my 'hellos' I'm going to say good night all
