I want to be able to "read" during a power outage. Candles don't cut it.

I was teasing with you, buddy.

    I know.

But I did buy candles a while back. They are enough to keep me from walking into things, but reading... no way.

I mean I could just buy a generator, but they are far more expensive, and I'd have to go down three flights to the basement to turn it on.

Might have been a timing thing. I had it "open" as I was quoting you. Try again.

    Nope, TC.

Was my fault. I didn't fully read/click, the direction.

The switch over to lithium batteries has changed the cordless tools for me as I now that is all I will buy it only takes 30 minutes to recharge the batteries for my weed eater, blower, and chainsaw and no more gas to carry around plus if the gas tool is not used often the gas has turned rancid and gummed up the carburetor to where it will not start. The battery powered tools are so much quieter to.

Pretty decent lights. I also found a bunch with built in AM/FM/NOAA radios and such, as well.

Also found recommendations by Bob Vila.. LOL

The battery for your drill is much bigger than those lights have and is replaceable and does serve dual purpose.

Yep gone are the days of having to get a case of batteries for your flashlight which only last a few hours at best.

I saw an add some time back about a handheld light that was so bright it would set a piece of paper on fire on high.
