Just a curious question of the most trivial sort (so it belongs here if it belongs anywhere): is there a record of the various version numbers of the OS that have been on a particular computer in the registry somewhere?

Why would I wonder about that? 🤨

I've noticed that on one of my machines, all of the instances of "Startup" and "Cleanup" (as in the Startup tab of Task Man, the title bars of Disk Cleanup's various windows, and the default name of the Startup folder in Start Menu\Programs) are spelled as I just spelled them. But on my other two machines, those words appear in all of these places with hyphens in them ("Start-up" and "Clean-up").

What difference does it make? None whatsoever at all in any way. Zero.

But I wonder whether one version of W10 that was on one or the other of my computers somewhere in time had the spelling with the dashes, and that version was never on the others. That might explain it. And Windows updates are unlikely to mess around with that sort of thing.

BTW, all three machines are currently on W10 Pro 64 20H2 19042.964.

So, does anybody here know whether there's a record of version installations anywhere on a computer? 😷
