Bin guy came by and it is gone.
Hello, Ken. Looks like most of us have a nice day ahead. I'm liking that a lot!

Well, all is well here. CDC says we can all go face-naked now! NOT!
Supposedly, only those of us who are fully vaccinated. I still wear my mask because it makes people more comfy around me. And, there is the off chance I'll meet up with someone who may be infected.

Never been totally convinced about how much use the sort of face masks most people use here are.
The masks I make have a Pellon interfacing that makes them comparable to N95. Since the mask mandate is no longer in effect in Arkansas, I've stopped making them. I gave some out to my Windows 10 students last week, and on this past Wednesday, some of them told me the masks are the best they've ever worn! They fit so well they don't fog glasses.

See eight of the Yankees baseball team that are vaccinated have tested positive. Only one has any symptoms.

So the vaccine works in terms of not getting super sick but you can still spread.
    Hello, Ken.

Actually, those players got the J & J vaccine.

Being classified as clinically extremely vulnerable because of age, diabetes, and hypertension. I was happy to take the first that came along.
Other than age, I'm healthy as a horse, but as soon as I could get the vaccine, I signed up!

    Hi all.

That small risk of blood clots apparently seems to associated with the vaccines based on a modified virus (like AZ or J&J). There are no reports of clots associated with any of the mRNA-based vaccines (eg Phizer).

Any way, for me the question is academic, it being some 2 weeks since I had the 2nd Phizer/BionTech jab.....
Hello, Bree. Agreed; I had the Pfizer vaccine too, and am very glad of it.

It will be good weather for bees until Sunday evening then high chances of rain all week.
Yeah, I'm not sure whether the rain expected to start here on Monday is coming from you, or heading toward you from here! One thing I do know, though! We're both gonna get very wet all next week!

    Good afternoon, Bree.

You know...oddly enough, before the J&J was pulled in the states, there was only a small handful of people with the clotting issue. Fourteen (14), if I'm not mistaken (which I certainly could be), but anyway, they were all female. Just thought that was strange.

    Wishing you the best.
The contraceptive pill also causes clotting. Just saying.

There are side effects of almost every medication, no matter what it is. Just watch the commercials on prescription meds, and you'll wonder why you should even consider that med at all!

Yep. Every pack of meds comes with a leaflet outlining them.

    Hello Wynonna

Yes, everything has side-effects. Apparently aspirin has 'headaches' listed as one possible side-effect
