My relatives in Germany wrote me & they are saying that Denmark stopped using the AstraZenica completely due to some findings. For some reason Germany said they would take that med & distribute it.
The strange thing is, they're only giving it to people over 60. Another disturbing factor, you have to sign a waiver & have proof that you are the actual person signing before they give it to you. More then likely it's buried in the legalese that you can't come after them if something bad happens after receiving it.
My relatives say along with others it's mostly for show, the politicians being able to say that they have a vaccine to give out. As to why they are only giving it out to seniors, there's various theories about that, none good.
It's a balance of risk because of the rare blood clots. The risk of dying from that has to be balanced against the risk of dying from CV. The risk of dying from CV is highly dependant on age. It starts to really kick in at >40 so in the UK they offer AZ to people over 40 and prefer the Pfizer or Moderna for under 40s.
