It is an retail key, but it is came preinstalled. The Windows 7 Home Premium is not used. So if I have 1 PC unactivated, I would rather use it there, or in an VM.

Not at all. Once a PC has had W10 Pro activated on it, then a digital licence linked to the PC's unique hardware ID is stored on the Microsoft activation servers. You just clean install W10 Pro and skip entering a key when asked. As soon as it can contact the activation servers it will activate from the existing digital licence.
Also, I sticked an Ethernet Cable on my PC. And it wouldn't come out. If I want to use Local Account, I will need to turn off the router, causing no internet in my whole house.
No need to turn off router. Why would you say so?
