    Good day everyone.

    Another great day here.

Wow once these hackers get a hold of your email password they are persistent. Installed a mail rule, enabled forwarding and behind scenes that sync their mobile device to your account.

Also check all the recovery options to make sure they hadn't got their fingers in there. Little pain in the As....

MS gives you an option to wipe data from phone (part of their email offering, very slick) and you can boot their mobile device off account. They keep reconnecting but with new complex password they can sync.
Good morning Ken ...hows your back feeling this morning ?

    Morning Borg.

Thanks. I actually have more than one occurrence of this so as I find information I phone the other clients and get them to make changes. I recommended to we clean install her OS, which gets rid of a lot of junk and updates her wo Window 10, and we give her son a Standard account. Think he is likely the root of this issue.

    Afternoon Keith

Morning Charlie. That was one plate of crawfish. Bring any home for the cats?

    Morning WXC

Today I'm off to service one of those electronic door locks, likely a battery issue. Never know what the day will bring.

Morning Mike. My back is not bad, I feel it when I first get up, boy it stiffens up.

    Congrats on the new phone.

Yep, clean install solves a lot of problems. Also good is keeping backups on a separate drive that isn't constantly connected to the system, as most ransomware goes after those as well nowadays.

Got a call from one of my Wife's friends, she was interested in investing in Cryptocurrency. Seems that's in the spotlight again. There was a segment on the news about all the new scams that are popping up with the resurgence of the popularity of it.

I told her she may not be interested in it. She thought it's an easy process to convert it to cash...it isn't.

Sorry to hear about your back, hope you get to feeling better soon.

Yes, technology moves on and there is only so much room on the towers for so many antennas.

I'm looking for a new phone too but waiting on fall announcements. Have a hunch by current device may be pulled from software support.

Agree on backups Borg. A very large percentage of my clients don't believe so it is a struggle.

Backups are never important until you have lost something. Then the tears.

A gal who got me involved in teaching seniors bought into bitcoin very early. Like below $10 a coin, at least seven years ago, as her son wanted to mine. Well she did very, very well.

Yep, it has gone up. Fluctuated a lot but has gone up in general.

For me though, if something makes money I'd prefer to cash it out when needed. I looked ll that up a couple years ago, what was involved if you wanted to actually convert it to cash. Things may have gotten easier, I don't know, but when I looked it involved a lot & it was risky since it was all digital.

I may look into it again if/when banks start accepting it, who knows, some might already.
