    Good morning, afternoon, evening, folks.

It's 61° heading for 76° later today with lotsa sun! I'll be outside most of the day basking in the sunshine.

    Morning WXC.

Funny you should ask that as I growled about it yesterday.

I bought a Simoniz, which is the same make as I had before. The actual pressure washer works very well, plenty of power.

The nozzle is adjustable, three settings, cone, wand and stream.

I thought it would be great just to have the hose wind up on the unit. For my purposes that was a mistake. Since you have to connect directly to electrical outlet you can only get so far away due to electrical cord. I added back my old pressure extension but of course this does not fit on winder.

Then there is the electrical cord. The cord is long enough but to keep cost down the hooks they provide on the machine to wrap around really aren't long enough. Unless you spend way to much time winding, the cord comes off

The base is quite compact so yesterday while I was pulling I pulled the unit over twice. Use to be supply inlet was on back and pressure hose connected to front. This provided natural stability. As you pulled the garden hose pulled the other way.

So, take in mind how long the electrical cord is and how long the supplied pressure hose is. This will be your pressure washing radius.

If this meets your needs perfect. If you need to add more pressure hose watch how you will store it. Of course there is the base issue.

@Caledon Ken, How did the new pressure washer work for you?

Do you have any advice for me, as what to specifically look for, when purchasing one? It will be used for residential use only. Washing drive, decking, soffit/gutters, metal sided garage and the like.
Be sure it has a Briggs & Stratton engine.

    Morning Wynona.

I just went electric on the pressure washer as it is quieter and less maintenance.

Well my Wayfair delivery just arrived. The unit appears bigger in person. Heaven help the movers that someday move us. better be young with very strong backs.
