They published some excellent figures here yesterday. Only 32 people more than 3 weeks after the first shot of the vaccine have been hospitalised with COVID. So it looks like they work and the up to 12 weeks interval we have in the UK has paid off.

The 32 people involved would certainly disagree, but that is a statistically insignificant number. It is virtually impossible to achieve 100% efficacy. This or any other mega-bug.

They didn't say how many had actually got it, just those sick enough to need hospital care.
