    The Raspberry Pi Thread [6]

    Note   Note
Continued from - The Raspberry Pi Thread [5]

I also code on my Pi and PC for my Pi. I have to remember to switch the Interpreter back to normal etc.
I've been looking at my already modified Enviro code that I want to further modify for two BME280's. It's going to be a lot of edits to split it into Indoor on one LCD and Outdoor on the other. I can see me putting this off until summer when I can take it all out on my back deck to tinker with. It's usable as is right now with one screen showing the local values from one of the BME280's. I'll likely sit down one day and switch "temperature" to "temperature_in" and "temperature_out", and the logging etc for each. Then do humidity the next dat etc. I have big chunks of code I have to copy, and then modify so one is in and the other is out. It's going to be a lot more work than I had originally anticipated. It should get easier as I go along. I'm hoping anyway.

Just take it one step at a time Jack. I'd try it on a Pi first. It was easier to setup on my Pi400 than my PC.
What ever Pi you pick make sure its fully updated. If you run the following it will do both the update and upgrade in one go
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
That gets you Pi PICO support in Thonny.

Hey Jack, when you get back to tinkering with your PICO, just post any problems on the Pimoroni forum. There are few there with way more skill with it than me. And I might learn something too in the process.

    I want a new drug
One that won't make me sick
One that won't make me crash my car
Or make me feel three feet thick

    I want a new drug
One that won't hurt my head
One that won't make my mouth too dry
Or make my eyes too red

One that won't make me nervous
    Wondering what to do
